By accessing or using SaxTab (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

SaxTab is an online platform that displays saxophone fingering diagrams and tablatures synchronized with musical content. The Platform allows authorized users to import and publish musical arrangements in tablature format.

3. User-Uploaded Content

Users who upload content to the Platform (“Uploaders”) represent and warrant that:

  • They own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to upload, publish, and display the content.
  • The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or moral rights.
  • They have the right to grant SaxTab a license to display the content on the Platform.

SaxTab is not responsible for content uploaded by users. We do not review, verify, or endorse the accuracy, legality, or completeness of any user-uploaded content. All responsibility for uploaded content lies solely with the Uploader.

4. Intellectual Property

Musical compositions and arrangements may be protected by copyright. Uploading a tablature or fingering diagram derived from a copyrighted work without authorization from the rights holder may constitute copyright infringement. SaxTab does not condone copyright infringement and will respond to valid takedown notices in accordance with applicable law.

The SaxTab platform itself, including its design, code, and original content, is the exclusive property of SaxTab and is protected by intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • SaxTab makes no warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • SaxTab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
  • SaxTab is not liable for any copyright infringement committed by users of the Platform.
  • SaxTab is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of any external links or third-party websites accessible from the Platform.

6. Content Removal

SaxTab reserves the right to remove any content at its sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe the content violates these Terms of Use, applicable law, or the rights of third parties. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please refer to our DMCA Policy.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that infringes any intellectual property rights.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

8. Modifications

SaxTab reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
